Works by Alexander Sedelnikov have been published in such publications as Extra Extra, De Gids, Calvert journal, Stedelijk Studies, De Groene Amsterdammer, Metropolis M, Martinez Gallery books.
Alexander is focusing on the notion of a transformative ideology of freedom that could be researched through the act of producing and assimilating a subject matter. Besides, he deals with the issues of his identity, which is associated with his environment, aesthetic choices as well as the modern political agenda. In this case, the materiality and transformation of the body become necessary aspects of Alexander's research. The studio and installation practices have come to reflect the complexity of the works themselves.
