I see a catastrophe all the time I sleep

20.01.2021 – 19.03.2021

Venue: Iragui. Moscow, Malaya Polyanka 7-5

Liza Bobkova's exhibition "I see a catastrophe all the time I sleep" continues at the Iragui Gallery (Moscow). The installation of 16 steel spheres and sand painted in a poisonous pink color fills the entire space of the Iragui Gallery.

The artist about this project: "This work is a huge daily work: bending stainless steel on a machine, welding rings, painting sand by hand - tons of quartz sand with poisonous dyes. Week after week. The duration of the process for me is an integral part of the result. But no matter how difficult the job is, no one should see what it costs. It should feel like it’s easy and natural, inhale and exhale. As if it never happened. "
