Greedily to Love Dear Friend

Liza Bobkova presented a personal project "Greedy to love Dear friend" at the Richter Hotel (Moscow). It became a result of her participation in the creative residence "Richter Workshops".

At the opening, Liza Bobkova presented a large-scale installation and works created during her residence, and media artist Yevgeny Granilshchikov presented his new film.

Architectural installation "Greedy to Love Dear Friends" consists of 100-meter black fabric, painted with a special solution to discolor the fabric. The drawings are based on the words heard in the hotel behind closed doors of the rooms, in the restaurant, on the stories heard from the people working and living in the hotel – everything that surrounds the routine in hotels.

Inside the hotel, Liza Bobkova's graphic works were shown. Artist traced the sound waves of her voice on tracing paper with ink and pen. Next to the series of graphic works is a sound installation created jointly with another resident of the workshops – composer and musician Igor Yakovenko.

The project was prepared by the Richter Hotel in collaboration with MYTH Gallery and with the support of Esquire.
