Road Palace Dreamers

In Krasnodar Center for Contemporary Art 'Typography', an exhibition 'Road Palace Dreamers' took place, where MYTH's artists Anna Afonina, Vadim Mikhailov and Nikita Seleznev represented their works.

The exhibition's curator and founder of FFTN Gallery (Saint-Petersburg) Irina Aksenova on project:

FFTN, a place for artistic and curator experiments, builds in Krasnodar a palace styled in post-exoticism rococo. A temporary construction made of artworks of young St.Petersburg artists extends the initiatives of FFTN group, dedicated to experiencing networks of weak connections in "North — South" direction. 

This project reviews a palace as a symbolic space, that manifests political (poetical) aspect in culture. Appealing to metaphysics and semantics of this type of building, project's team is inspired by Cedric Price's Fun Palace and constructs the palace as a 'non-building'.
