Love. From and to
30.04.2024 – 30.07.2024
Venue: Sytin's printing house. Moscow, Pyatnitskaya St., 71/5. Moscow, Pyatnitskaya St., 71/5
Curator: Anna Malay
The exhibition project "Love. From and To" developed by the concept-studio PRANNA was opened in Sytina printing house. The printing space turned into a total installation. The exhibition journey will bring the viewer closer to the answer to the question "What is love?". The thirteen episodic rooms will be divided into two parts: "Cognition" and "Healing". Together they form a peculiar path from birth to the moment "here and now". So, the viewer can comprehend his individual experience of "love". The installations created by the artists involve interaction with the viewer, where everyone can get a unique experience of living love through memories and anticipation of the future. The rooms-episodes are not just an artistic interpretation of one or another side of "love". The viewer becomes a full participant in the research process. Protagonists in white costumes accompany visitors to the total installation. According to the idea of the curator Anna Malay "these protagonists are people from the future, who came to our time to become guides to understanding love".
Travel through the exhibition resembles transformational games, the goal of which is logical transformation and gaining new experience through live contact with art and contemplative therapy. At the heart of this path is the idea of the primordial nature of love and an attempt to look at it through the eyes of a researcher, whose tools and practices will be provided by the artists of the exhibition "Love. From and To".
Especially for the exhibition, Lyudmila Baronina has prepared a total installation "Boudoir", offering to take time to reflect on self-love!
