MYTH Gallery x SOMA

MYTH Gallery together with the SOMA restaurant presents a personal exhibition of Petr Kirusha.

Ahead of COSMOSCOW the artist started to create a new series of works, some of which will be presented at the exhibition. Peter Kirusha constantly experiments with the figurative language of his works. The current works are densely populated, figurative and full of movement: since the times of pandemic and isolation Petr has chosen social media as a plein air. By reifying digital images on canvas he creates a bridge between the digital world and the real one.

The restaurant’s interior, its location combines tradition and modernity, as well as the new series of Petr Kirusha’s works, made in a genre art, but with the addition of digitalization, inherent to the latest time. The works have a special shimmering color, like an image on the screen of a smartphone or computer, which brings to work the spirit of modernity.
