Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow presents the exhibition "The position of paintings depends on taste. Contemporary art from the collection of Anton Kozlov". The project continues the strategic program of the museum "Private collections at MAMM".
The MAMM exhibition is an attempt to create a dashed line of the development of contemporary Russian art with a focus on such important movement as post-war abstraction and Moscow conceptualism. Since the boundaries between art trends are quite blurred, the exhibition also shows individual works related to kineticism, op art, social art, etc.
The starting point of the route is the works of representatives of the nonconformist Soviet art. At the same time, the exhibition will allow to see how artistic methods of the 1960s and 1980s are developing and transforming in the works of authors of younger generations, whose art largely determines the current situation of modern art in Russia. Thus, the exhibition presents the works of Alina Glazoun and Petr Kirusha, representing the metamorphoses of strategies laid down by conceptualists and masters of post-war abstraction.
