Garden of Memories
07.02.2025 – 31.05.2025
Venue: 3L Gallery. Lva Tolstogo str., 23/1. Moscow
MYTH Gallery and 3L Gallery presented a joint group exhibition project "Garden of Memories". The exhibition space houses the works of three MYTH Gallery artists: Petr Kirusha, Milena Strelkova and Egor Fedorichev, who in their works refers to the theme of memory and lived moments.
Milena Strelkova's works from her first solo project "Escape" – stained glass windows with negative images, "Curtain" and "chopped off Garden" made of stainless steel and "Toys" made of glass chips – became a reflection of the world of childhood memories. Egor Fedorichev works with the theme of collective memory, integrating fragments of classical painting from various eras into his own works. In the tarpaulin canvases from the series "Joy there are no borders," he turns to the style of socialist realism and explores the process of disembodying an individual in a totalizing "mass." Petr Kirusha's canvases are a heuristic map of experienced situations and memories. In the works "Liminal Space", the artist reflects on childhood and computer games – a place with no exit appears, and the recurring image of mushrooms capable of outliving humanity reminds: everything will disappear, and only they will remain and adapt to the new reality.
