This is a story of a man, who thinks he is practicing freedom. Acting independent from social regulations he loses control of his life and eventually becomes his own hostage. So, we question the extent to which freedom might be ‘stretched’ till it becomes anarchy and decay.
We want to reframe concept of freedom through the Roman perception of it. During the Republic time and closer to the decay of empire freedom was defined by having property, or more specifically, by owning a house. House was a place to set your own rules and establishing it’s functioning. Owning a house is a responsibility for the objects and people it contains. Therefore, freedom might be understood as an ownership of a content: understanding of simple consequential chains, being able to foresee the result, otherwise your home will get out of function and transform into a worthless place with no supplement. It will run out of water and gas, lighting etc etc.
