Is it getting better? Archstoyanie

From July 26 to 28, the festival of landscape objects "Archstoyanie" was held. The theme of the 2024 festival is "us". The main research area of Archstoyanie 2024 will be numerous communities and interactions between them. The festival space will be arranged as an adventure quest in which each group — a host of a special culture — will find its place in the park space, and the program will turn into a participatory search for forms of communication between people, communities and a place through art, architecture, music and theater.

Especially for the festival, artist Alina Glazoun has developed an art project "Is it better?". The art object is presented in the form of an arched swing and is dedicated to the feelings that we experience during changes: big and small, general and deeply personal. The shape of the arch symbolizes the transitional state between "before" and "after", and the swing is a familiar metaphor for doubt and indecision when it is important to make a choice.
