Nikita Seleznev at the exhibition of nominees «Innovation-2021»

On 25th June Arsenal in Nizhny Novgorod hosted the opening of the «Innovation-2021» nominees' exhibition. Nikita Seleznev entered the shortlist of the «New Generation» nomination with the project «Karate Poetry», created together with curator Anna Zavediy in our gallery in 2020.

The exhibition includes seven objects by the artist from his personal project. The exhibition as a whole attempts to build a narrative about what contemporary art can be today. The exhibition is united by the theme of an educational turn and begs such questions as “What is knowledge today?", "How can we share it?" and "What can art teach us?” ❔
