Tales of the New Year is a literary project by The Blueprint featuring Christmas stories from the brightest contemporary authors, intertwining current and sometimes painful reality with plot phantasmagoria and bold hopes familiar to the festive season.
Each story from the collection – sincere and ironic, realistic and magical, melancholic and wonderful – is illustrated by the artist Ulyana Podkorytova and catches time itself in its fabulous nets. And the three Christmas spirits of the Past, Present and Future tease with nostalgia, overwhelm with a shudder of recognition, give bright hope and faith in the desired miracle.
