The theme of the 107th issue of the Snob magazine is "Tastes". As you know, tastes differ. And the editors of "Snob" suggest to talk about what kind of movies, TV series, music, wine and modern art they and we like, and most importantly — why? Who shapes our tastes and how?
The cover for the issue was designed by MYTH Gallery artist Alina Glazoun! The theme of the issue is tastes, and cats, as Alina says, determine good taste. It was her beloved "sons" that the artist placed on the cover. "The eldest, Ulysses, is named after Odysseus, the youngest, Phaedrus, after a character in Plato's dialogue of the same name. Ulysses and Phaedrus have been the main characters of a huge number of my works, installations, projects, and collaborations for the past 10 years. They look similar in appearance, but they are completely different in character, with opposite preferences and tastes. The only thing they have in common is absolute uncompromising commitment to what they like. And, yes, they're both terrible snobs!"
